A financial services firm is looking for a UI Product Designer to join their team in New York, NY.
Pay: $73/hr

Responsibilities:
- Quickly create visuals that explore a variety of options based on stakeholder input to help with decision-making
- Design and deliver web and mobile interfaces based on best practices
- Deliver specifications that are consistent with brand guidelines & design system
- Clearly articulate the rationale for your design decisions to business stakeholders and other designers
- Map out user journeys to show connections between systems and expose gaps
- Partner with engineers to understand limitation on design options
- Practice inclusive design; designing for equity and accessibility
- Manage multiple projects at one time, switching focus between projects as required to manage priorities
- Contribute to design system consisting of components and UI patterns
Required
- Background in visual design, product, architecture, or related design field
- A strong portfolio that has compelling UI visuals with solid process and thinking
- 3 to 5 years of experience working directly with stakeholders, senior management, and development teams
- Comfort with navigating ambiguity this means executing designs with limited information and/or overall understanding of project, and oversight
- Expert user of Figma
- Experience applying brand guidelines within a design system
- Excellent storytelling skills
- Up to date with latest design standards and trends (e.g. Material You)
- Experience working in financial services
- Experience designing complex digital products with data visualizations and dashboards
- Experience in user testing and usability analysis
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
