Partner Account Manager

This role will have a primary focus on our partnerships with Microsoft Solutions Partners focused on Microsoft cybersecurity and collaboration workloads.

You will serve as a trusted advisor to the Channel Partners and develop a mutually beneficial relationship in alignment with Open Systems business priorities. Drive end-to-end revenue, Open Systems profitability, and pipeline through joint business plans and data-driven sales efforts. Articulate business strategies and values to effectively sell with the Partner, creating a scalable and repeatable selling ecosystem. Develop knowledge of Partner priorities, solution areas, IT landscape, IT investment strategy, Open Systems priorities and value proposition to differentiate Open Systems from competitors. Train partners on our Partner Platform tool and coordinate and execute Open Systems activities with the Partner, leveraging Open Systems specialists when needed. Align field sales to drive increased value to Open Systems for pipeline and revenue/profit growth while leveraging the collective strength of the partner ecosystem.

Your Mission

  • You are responsible for Managing our strategic partnerships with Microsoft Solution Partners, on-boarding, and developing relationships with various Microsoft Partner sellers and teams
  • You work with Channel Partner field and executive teams identify opportunities at all stages and drive them to a successful closing
  • You develop scalable, repeatable sales plays with the partner
  • You support the needs of partner peers to maximize the value of these relationships and their revenue potential and stay top-of-mind
  • You are responsible for monthly/quarterly sales objectives via partner and in alignment with our US sales team
  • You maintain up to date revenue coming from Channel based opportunities in the CRM system 

Your Experience

  • You have at least five years of indirect sales experience in the cybersecurity industry
  • You impress with your value selling approach in complex IT environments (preferably in selling managed IT services)
  • You have a strong affinity with digitalization trends and cybersecurity
  • Your knowledge in the areas of SOC-aaS and Cybersecurity, Cloud deployments (IaaS, SaaS, PaaS), Microsoft Azure and Modern Workplace Security, would be an advantage

Other requirements

  • You have a winning personality (hunter mindset), the ability to listen and convince, also on C-level
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • You are willing to travel within the US
  • You are a good networker; reliable and loyal
  • You are able to work both independently and as part of a team
  • You have a Hunter mentality with the ability to provide creative ideas to grow a network of agents
