Opal Wealth Advisors is Hiring a Marketing Manager Near Jericho, NY

The Marketing Manager position is responsible for developing and executing internal and external marketing plans to drive brand loyalty and expand both internal and external business opportunities across Opal’s paid, owned and earned channels. Internal opportunities include expanding client relationships into additional products and services, as well as encourage client introductions to friends, family and their professionals. External activities include activities to encourage introductions from outside professionals and other lead generating activities.

Typical activities include web presence, social media, email automation work, and providing marketing support for advisors in partnership with our external marketing, branding and design firm. The applicant must be able to work within compliance rules.

A qualified candidate has enough experience to determine high-level strategy, create budgets and communicate with C-Suite professionals, but does not see daily tasks (managing social media, creating emails drip campaigns, providing technical expertise and support for seminars/events) as below them.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate opportunities for business development; understand referral networks and proactively identify opportunities for growth through inorganic and organic marketing.
  • Help design, develop, and execute on firm’s key messaging to internal and external stakeholders, including but not limited to current and potential clients.
  • Evaluate direct and indirect marketing activities across paid, owned and earned channels and increase their effectiveness to date for team and firm and provide recommendations for changes.
  • Create strong and effective web presence including managing the content and updates on the firm’s websites and assist in their future development as well as managing firm’s social media presence across LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
  • Proactively manage, prioritize, and communicate marketing activities. Chair marketing meetings where appropriate and provide advice, creative thought and develop sound insight into the firm’s areas of business/ideal clients.
  • Develop, evaluate, execute, and optimize marketing plans and budgets.
  • Provide guidance to individual advisors on their personal marketing plans and help them set their objectives where appropriate.
  • Provide weekly reports to management team on new client referrals, website analytics, PR successes and any other relevant measures of marketing success.
  • Work with the firm’s external marketing vendors including web, design and PR agencies and ensure projects are successfully and efficiently completed.
  • Plan, prepare and ensure the smooth running of virtual and in-person seminars and event programs and evaluate their effectiveness.
  • Manage the firm’s submission process for the relevant publications and organizations (example: Barron’s top 100 lists).

Required Skills

  • Ability to provide firm and its financial advisors with full marketing support across Opal’s paid, owned and earned channels
  • Experience working in Pardot/Marketing Cloud Account Engagement for client communications and prospecting strategies, leveraging engagement studios for drip campaigns
  • Ability to engage in and analyze market/competitive research, then provide recommendations for application
  • Ability to develop marketing materials and messaging to create strong firm brand and identification
  • Ability to design and implement web-based marketing to create strong firm brand and identification
  • Able to seek appropriate resources within and outside firm to assist with current and expand marketing opportunities
  • Software and Technology experience with the following: Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Canva, Photoshop, Adobe Creative, WordPress, Social Campaign Managers, editorial calendars,
  • Video and podcast platforms.
  • SEO/SEM strategy experience in running keyword search campaigns across Google AdWords integrated with Google Ad Manager.
  • Prior financial services experience is a positive, but not required
