Our team is expanding and we are looking for someone who is smart, motivated and passionate to join our HQ team as a Senior Financial Analyst (Supply Chain). 

We are a rapid growth company with complex supply chain and multinational operations and need someone awesome to oversee and grow the financial planning and analysis team within the Logistics Operations team. You will be capable of implementing a strong system of financial and key performance reports, analysis of those, and providing senior management with strong recommendations of required actions to drive continuous improvement and growth in a global consumer product company.

The job:

• Responsible for production and analysis of daily/weekly/monthly financial and key performance tracking for the Logistics team and some wider operational supply chain work. 
• Understand the underlying commercial business, in order to be able to measure what is important and maximise performance for our customers whilst managing costs. 
• Manage budgets
• Streamline data collection and analysis procedures to ensure fast access to supply chain KPI metrics
• Implement and monitor a control system to ensure appropriate monitoring and review of transactions and data, with a month end closure process. 
• Collaborate closely with our Finance team and Analytics team to ensure one clear source of truth to drive business decision making. 
• Participate and provide operational support in the review of key supply chain projects and budget control for those projects
• Provide guidance and training support for team members

Apply if you:

• Have 5 years experience in a similar role 
• Have a strong financial background, with experience such as a CA, CIMA or equivalent financial analysis. 
• Have good knowledge and experience of the logistics process and/or supply chain operations
• Have excellent skills with ERP systems, to be able to collect and check data accuracy, and present data in an intuitive and understandable manner. 
• Have a track record of analysing data, identifying trends and actions 
• Have a strong analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude
• Possess strong interpersonal, negotiation and influencing skills
• Are customer focussed
• Are highly organised with attention to detail
• Have the ability to manage successful projects

Desirable Experience with:

• Tableau or similar products
• Retail or e-commerce with a consumer goods company
