We're looking for a big ol' Excel and finance systems nerd. We could go into loads of detail (and will below), but basically we just want someone to come in and have a great time rolling about in numbers and data like a pig in the proverbial. Maybe you're a newly / part qualified accountant. Maybe you're not but you've done this stuff in your sleep for years and Just. Get. It. Either way, let's chat.

Ok, here's the detail as promised:

The job:

• Be our Financial Reporting Analyst! Eat pizza, do a bit of reporting. Eat more pizza. Pat your belly contentedly.
• Even though our amazing pizza ovens are the very peak of elegant simplicity, things can get pretty complex behind the scenes. We're multinational, multi-currency, multi-channel, multi-cheerios and, on top of all that, growing extremely fast. You'll laugh in the face of this so-called complexity and use your analytical and reporting super powers to wrestle that data and pluck those nuggets of insight that shine a light on past and future performance.
• You'll mainly work with Louise and Stephen, our wonderful FP&A Manager and Group Reporting Manager respectively, to pull the numbers and provide the commentary and insights for our reporting calendar. That means pulling and analysing data for:
  • annual and monthly accounts
  • departmental budget meetings and forecast revisions
  • detailed management packs
  • bank reporting
  • tax filing
  • and ad hoc requests from our needy COO who refuses to learn how to run reports from our system even though it would only take him, like, 20 minutes. I honestly think he’s just looking for any excuse to hang out with the finance team... and who can blame him?
• Your analysis will be key in our decision-making so your ability to draw insight, present and be challenged is as important as the reports and scenario analysis you'll create. For FP&A we translate info to our non-finance pals in the business, so being able to eloquently present complex data is a big part of this.We may love a spreadsheet but apparently not everyone does. Crazy, eh?!
• Our ERP system is SAP Business ByDesign. It's a bit of a beast - but it's our beast and we love it. We're continually optimising and building on it and rethinking how we use all of its lovely data. Help us point this wonderful machine towards world domination.
• There's loads going on. You'll be busy and need to be super organised.

 Apply if:

• You have 3 years of experience in accounts and finance - specifically in reporting and using systems and being a big ol' nerdy nerd. Dealing with real life products is a bonus. You’ve got to know your way around a balance sheet and P&L, with the ability to embrace complex data to provide valuable insights.
• Qualified / part qualified accountant (ACCA /CIMA/CA or similar) or qualified by experience would be nice but not essential.
• You've got super analytical skills and demonstrated experience in building spectacular financial models and wrestling mountains of data from multiple sources.

• You have experience working your way around a big ERP system. Working knowledge of SAP Business ByDesign would be lovely but by no means essential.
• You’re willing to help Louise transform our gorgeous spreadsheets into beautiful, easy to digest visual reports. Experience of Power BI/Tableau would be a bonus but if not we’ll turn you into a reporting ninja in no time!
• You’re freakishly organised. If your holiday travel itineraries aren't meticulously planned hour by hour on Excel then I don't even know why you're reading this.
• You can really get on board with our values. Especially Rigour for this job. And even more especially Passion. Actually, especially all of them. They’re all important.
