Marketing and Event Coordinator

Role

The marketing and event coordinator is part of the Ooma brand team and plays a key role in representing Ooma at various events. We are hiring a creative, resourceful person to help drive company growth and gain brand exposure across various vertical markets.

Responsibilities

• Manage logistics for multiple trade shows and events simultaneously, including but not limited to exhibit space, attendee registration, hotel accommodations, onsite services and shipping.
• Travel to in-person events as needed to provide onsite support and execute logistics.
• Create detailed timelines and checklists to ensure all deadlines are met and no details are overlooked.
• Maintain detailed event calendar and swag inventory.
• Manage budgets and follow up on payments with the finance team as required.
• Partner with the sales and marketing team on pre and post-event details and lead handoff.
• Assist with other marketing programs as needed.

Requirements

• 1-2 years experience with corporate event planning and project management

• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational and communication skills
• 30-40% travel to onsite events within the continental U.S. required
• Ability to problem solve and work independently in a changing and multi-tasking environment with numerous deadlines
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, hospitality, communications or similar field
