Chief Marketing Officer, Bradenton, FL
Salary: $200,000 in total compensation

Opportunity 
The CMO will lead our marketing team and our all our marketing efforts creating new marketing strategies and campaigns while improving marketing metric performance. The CMO is responsible for over $10 to $20 million annual marketing budget that may grow to over $50 million soon. The CMO is a critical part of the C-Suite leadership team participating in the leadership team strategic planning and profit sharing.
Essential Duties  

  • Lead marketing department as well as marketing strategies, initiatives, and programs.
  • Lead and develop a team of marketing professionals both internal and external providing strategic vision, direction, and accountability based on organizational and brand goals. 
  • Run and scale a high functioning marketing department driving ticket sales and attendees to over hundreds of events per year both large and small.
  • Manage key marketing metrics and drive performance such as acquisition costs.
  • Collaborate and strategize with other C-suite leaders and departments to improve overall company performance.
  • Translate goals into effective integrated marketing strategies and campaigns for key brands, product lines, funnels, and customer segments that support company goals. 
  • Analyze growth strategies, market dynamics and competitive landscape by region and event.
  • Create, develop, and improve new and existing marketing funnels and brands through traditional, digital, in-person events and other funnel strategies.
  • Develop strategies and tactics to increase customer flow and sales through accelerating traffic, increasing conversion, and expanding lead generation.
  • Work and lead Creative team in brand and marketing projects.
  • Drive key business results through integrated campaigns including digital, social, email, television, radio, outdoor, and other tactics. 
  • Work with creative talent through design reviews and helping connect the dots with higher performing assets.
  • Oversee and improve integrated communications campaigns and programs that drive growth, brand experience, awareness, and value.
  • Coordinate with leadership to maintain awareness of product roadmaps and to develop key themes and messages for incorporation into promotional plans.
  • Analyze media demographics, manage media placements and promotions, negotiate rates, and monitor effectiveness via survey tools.
  • Stay current and ahead of the curve with all new constantly changing marketing technology, trends, and strategies.
  • Evaluate and analyze the results of each campaign and program and make improvements.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned. 
  • Report to COO with dotted line to CEO. 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred 

  • Strong knowledge and obsessed passion for all things marketing.
  • Ability to lead and execute to achieve incredible results.
  • Strong vision to see a project from conception to final execution.
  • Broad based of knowledge in marketing, tech, creative, strategies, business, etc. 
  • Excellent creative and problem-solving skills and abilities.
  • Strong knowledge in marketing and a high functioning marketing department’s need. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Ability to juggle and prioritize multiple projects
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. 
  • Must be able to embrace and promote our vision, mission and values.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment. 

Qualifications and Experience Preferred 

  • 10 years of related experience.
