We are searching for a friendly, experienced, and dedicated Human Resources professional who possesses a high level of care for people and willingness to serve and meet the needs of our employees in this important role. This is a full-time position and this person will manage all aspects of Human Resources at the company throughout our 3 locations in Illinois, Georgia, and North Carolina. This position includes a great deal of people-interaction, as well as administrative tasks and detail work; the ideal candidate will be proficient in and enjoy both.

We are looking for the following qualities in a candidate:

  • Servant leader who puts others first
  • Teachable attitude and eager to apply constructive feedback and learn from mistakes
  • Excellent people skills, with a friendly, approachable, and compassionate attitude
  • Proactive with outstanding organizational and time management skills
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Human Resources at a small to mid-sized company (schooling or certifications in HR are a plus)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including giving clear and engaging presentations
  • Excellent critical thinking skills with aptitude in problem solving
  • Skilled in administrative skills with great attention to detail
  • Possesses a high level of confidentiality
  • Technologically skilled (Microsoft Excel/Word/Teams, Bluebeam, etc.)
  • Looking for a long-term role at a growing company

Job responsibilities include:

  • Exemplify ONSITE’s vision statement: Dedicated to God, we serve others with excellence and integrity. Especially in interactions with candidates and employees.
  • Provide general oversight and guidance to company leadership on all employment-related programs, policies, and practices.
  • Handle all recruiting for the company, from job posting, applicant screening, interviewing, evaluating, hiring, and onboarding.
  • Administer, participate in decision-making, and communicate all company benefits including health insurance, union membership, 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other employee benefits.
  • Maintain proper records and communication involving employment practices including company policies, federal or state policies, etc.
  • Administer and manage all OSHA recordkeeping and workman’s compensation employee injuries.
  • Oversee wellness committee and facilitate communication and execution of wellness initiatives.
