Our Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced compassionate and motivated accounts receivable specialist to perform duties associated with claims resolution. This position is responsible for handling all correspondence related to an insurance or patient account, contacting insurance carriers, and patients and other facilities as needed to get maximum payment on accounts and identify issues or changes. Ultimately responsible for maintenance of revenue cycling process. You will be provided full administrative support and mentorship with a team approach.

Requirements

• Working knowledge with claims denial follow up
• Strong collections both with private & insurance
• Resolving system edits
• Conduct account research and analysis
• Audits and claims errors through research and insurance communication
• Maintain and accurate detailed aging report
• Minimum one (1) year Insurance Denial Resolution

The Candidate

• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Efficient time management
• Very strong attention to detail
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• At least 3 years of electronic billing experience
• General knowledge of HCPCS, CPT, and ICD Coding
• CPC Certification a plus
• Medical terminology knowledge
• Familiar and proficient with multi-payer requirements and claims processing
