Onsite Dental is Hiring a Clinical Director Near San Francisco, CA
Clinical Director - West Coast
The Clinical Directors primary role is to teach, train, and coach Associate Dentists within their area of assigned leadership. This is accomplished by observing and identifying opportunities for improvement, creating action plans for mentorship, providing the necessary training, and monitoring to ensure the desired level of improvement is achieved.
Role Accountability & Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of clinical care for assigned associate dentists
- Perform chart audits/reviews to ensure compliance with clinical policies and protocols
- Create mentorship and action plans based on audit and analytic data aimed to improve clinical proficiency and skill
- Drive clinical accountability and culture
- Serve as a mentor for all clinical staff
- Ensure excellent patient service is being offered
- Resolve clinical patient complaints
- Partner with Regional Managers to ensure dental office operations are in alignment with company goals, clinical standards, and patient care expectations
- Help ensure offices comply with safety, OSHA, and sterilization standards
- Recruit and onboard new doctors
Role Qualifications
- Must have a DDS or DMD degree from an accredited university
- Provider level basic life support (BLS)
- Prior supervisory experience is strongly preferred
- Ability to instill confidence and communicate effectively to patients is essential
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to maintain an outgoing, friendly attitude with patients and coworkers, even under pressure
- Ability to satisfactorily perform essential functions of the position
- Travel as needed or assigned
