This position is remote within commuting distance and has the ability to go into the Irving / Las Colinas McKesson Headquarters office or the Woodlands office as needed. The Business Intelligence Analyst will support McKesson Pharmaceutical Solutions and Services Advisory Services by supporting clinical specialists with insights and analytics. Through a combination of fundamental data analysis, data visualizations, and reporting, the Analyst will provide insights on topics such as: Deploy and support Oncology COT (Class of Trade) tool supporting the Business Development team Provide Advisory Service team with Anaplan modeling and analysis support Data analytics for strategic planning offering, including presentation of data to customers Analysis using Total View prescribing data for SAMs and SMEs Other analytic support includes reimbursement trends and a staffing efficiency calculator Key Responsibilities Perform and support data-driven analyses that define, measure, and investigate current operational trends, financial trends, and strategic insights related to McKesson’s business Maintain, update, and distribute customer-facing and internal dashboards that track customer drug analytics and Key Performance Indicators Perform analyses that highlight and value practice performance opportunities; communicate findings to key stakeholders including senior management Partner with Advisory Services team to prepare and participate in presentations for customer meetings Perform ad-hoc, data-driven analyses Coordinate system development with IT to enhance automation and visibility Minimum Requirements Requires 2 years of relevant analyst experience Critical Requirements Outstanding problem solving and analytical skills Demonstrated proficiency in analyzing and manipulating large data sets Ability to prioritize and deliver on multiple concurrent tasks Demonstrated ability to synthesize facts and insights into concrete, actionable recommendations Must have high attention to detail and be able to deliver high quality and accurate outputs Excellent verbal and written communication skills Experience using MS Office Suite. Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel Anaplan experience or the desire and ability to complete the Level 1 and Level 2 Anaplan training within the program timeline Tableau experience or the ability to learn quickly Additional Skills Comfortable working both independently and in a team environment Results-driven, with a desire to work in a fast-paced environment Pharma/Oncology knowledge and experience preferred but not required Experience with SQL Up to 10% travel Educations Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred Travel May require travel by air or automobile approximately up to 10% of the time Must be authorized to work in the US.
