Security and Compliance Manager

Onit, Inc. is looking for a Security and Compliance Manager to join our team in Pune and help provide direction to a group of highly skilled compliance analysts and information security engineers. Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day activities of the Pune Compliance and InfoSec teams.
• Delegate authority and responsibility to team with supervision, accountability and review of assigned tasks.
• Coordinate and communicate status of client security questionnaires, RFPs, audit tasks and internal compliance deliverables.
• Develop and track compliance items, follow-ups, and deliverables and dependencies.
• Mentor junior members of the Security and Compliance teams.
• Assist in company audit processes including SOC 2 Type 2, SOC 1 Type 2, HIPAA, and other frameworks.
• Assist with other compliance-related tasks as necessary.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in IT, MIS or related field or equivalent experience required.
• 5 years’ experience managing technical teams required.
• 2-3 years’ experience working in compliance or InfoSec required.
• A strong conceptual understanding of the components that comprise Information Security required.
• Direct involvement in audit processes (SOC, HIPAA, ISO) required.
• Knowledge of project management required.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills required.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills required.
• Some experience with US Govt. frameworks (FISMA, FedRAMP, NIST) a definite plus.
