Accounts Receivable Representative

Our central administrative office and headquarters is located in Buford, Georgia. One Water Marine has 73 dealerships in 12 states. Our expansion and growth has created the need to fill key positions to keep up with the demands in the boating industry. One Water Marine, is seeking a full time Accounts Receivable Representative to join our team.

  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, to effectively deal with interpersonal relationships and situations
  • Attention to detail, possess excellent planning and organization skills
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel

Major Responsibilities for this Position

  • Enter daily receipts into software program and make required bank deposits.
  • Work closely with storage locations to process rental billings.
  • Run customer recurring charges on the 1stof each month and process corresponding credit card charges.
  • Prepare monthly customer statements during first week of each month – via mail and email.
  • Review customer accounts/aging reports and apply customer payments as appropriate.
  • Resolve customer A/R issues & concerns, process refunds, write off finance charges, reconcile customer accounts and make adjustments as necessary.
  • Maintain customer A/R accounts by updating addresses, email addresses, phone numbers, credit card information, merge duplicate customer accounts and ensure accuracy of aging reports.
  • Use A/R function to ensure proper in house transfers of parts and accessories between stores.
  • Other special projects as assigned

Requirements

  • 2 year associate’s degree or equivalent with emphasis in business/accounting
  • A minimum of 2-5 years of demonstrated accounts receivable experience
  • Familiarity with the boating industry is a definite plus
