Summary:

OneH2, Inc is seeking an experienced HVAC Technician to join our Service Operations Team.The successful candidate will provide general technical services with specific responsibility foridentifying repairs and/or replacement needs for heating/cooling systems. The Technician will beresponsible for installing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading HVAC systems and equipmentfor our Hydrogen systems. HVAC Technician will also assist with other projects as assigned bythe Manager.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems.
• Monitors HVAC systems and operations and ensures that routine preventive maintenanceis performed according to established schedules and standards.
• Respond to hot and cold calls, then troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Check, repair and/or replaces valves, motors, controls, switches, gauges, wiring, fans,pumps, compressors, condensers, cores, pipes, and other functional components of thesystem.
• Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
• Document all work in the appropriate system(s)
• Comply with all company safety and risk management policies and procedures.
• Operate a variety of machinery, equipment and tools including saws, router, drills, sanders, planers, drill presses and various hand tools.
• Maintain inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment; recommend tools, supplies, and equipment for purchase.
• Participate in regular safety meetings, safety training and hazard assessments.
• Apply all applicable OSHA and related local safety requirements to all assigned work.
• Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
• Attend training programs (classroom and virtual) as designated.
• Adhere to local building and safety codes and guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned.

Skills & Requirements

• The preferred candidate will have a high school diploma or above
• Proven experience as a HVAC Technician.
• Hands-on experience in working with HVAC systems and equipment.
• Excellent understanding of HVAC techniques and methods of installation and maintaining HVAC systems and equipment.
• Possession of EPA 608 Universal Certification
• North American Technician Excellence (NATE) certification preferred
• Ability to read technical documents and drawings.
• Self-motivated, highly organized and detail oriented.
• Must be flexible to adapt quickly to changing priorities and assignments.
• Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
• Candidate must be a self-starter who will work as a team player and be able to work independently.
• Ability to work irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Possession of a valid Driver's License.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Willing to travel up to 75% of the time.
