The Group Coordinator provides administrative support for the Sales staff including greeting visitors, answering the telephone, gathering data and compiling reports, maintaining files and preparing correspondence. Impresses guests with quality and timely service in a pleasant and friendly manner.

  • Perform a wide variety of administrative assignments which are sometimes confidential in nature
  • Greet and direct visitors and answer, screen, and route phone calls
  • Create contracts
  • Quotes rates
  • Sales admin related tasks
  • Build relationships with current contracts
  • Ability to operate computer, calculator, phone and other office equipment. Attention to details with strong organizational and efficient time management skill
  • Consistent professional attitude and behavior with effective listening and strong communication skills. Ability to work in fast faced environment, sometimes under pressure, while remaining flexible and efficient
  • Organizes delivery of amenities
  • Inspect VIP guest rooms
  • Run arrival reports to search for potential Business Transient business
  • Properly input all reservations as requested
  • Build and manage group blocks in multiple systems
  • Cross train at the front desk
  • Assist managers on creative projects including proposals, direct mail pieces, invitations, etc
  • Conduct site inspections
