With multiple clinic sites across Montana and Wyoming, One Health provides medical, dental, pharmacy, behavioral health, and community and public health services to rural populations through an integrated approach to health care. This could be a remote position.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The program manager will coordinate internal and external teams in implementing a portfolio of grants within One Health. This position will be responsible for meeting all HRSA and other funding source requirements associated with the program, including managing the work plan, directing staff in the implementation of the work plan, producing required reports in a timely manner, and monitoring the efficient use of program resources. This position will be responsible for the development and maintenance of a group or groups of community coalitions. Work spans across multiple communities within One Health regions. Will supervise diverse staff across One Health sites.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Ensures that all reporting and/or deliverables are high quality and submitted on time. This includes progress and data reports, as well as any special requests or conditions.
  2. Monitors workplan completion and coordinates activities with other program staff to ensure that objectives are met. Regularly updates the workplans, as needed, with input from funders, Director, and program staff.
  3. Facilitates consortium meetings and maintains ongoing communication with Consortium partners between monthly face-to-face meetings.
  4. Maintains positive relationships with community partners and groups as well as internally across functional areas. Provides ongoing communication with community partners about the One Health Medication Assisted Treatment (One Health MAT) program and other One Health activities.
  5. Participates in all required trainings, webinars, coaching calls, and face-to-face meetings.
  6. Works closely with the program Director and One Health’s finance group to ensure that budgeted funds are spent in an appropriate timeline and according to guidelines.
  7. Facilitates Consortium Quality Assurance/Quality Improvement projects.
  8. Oversees implementation of the Assessment Plan, with a focus on effective utilization of evaluation information by primary intended users.
  9. Communicates regularly with One Health staff and community partners about the value of specific program activities and their impact.
  10. Adheres to all One Health Policies and Procedures.
  11. Participates in performance optimization and risk management activities as required.
  12. Cooperates and abides by all elements of One Health’s Compliance Program.
  13. Provides exceptional customer service and models the mission of One Health when interacting with internal and external stakeholders promoting a positive image for the health center.
  14. Performs other duties as assigned or required with or without prior notification.

MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Certificates/Licenses:

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in public health, education, community development or related field
  • Valid driver’s license

Preferred

  • Master’s degree in public health, education, community development, or related field

Experience:

Required

  • Three (3) years’ experience in grant/program management, program evaluation, or community development work
