ONCE UPON A CHILD is Hiring a Floor Manager Near Carpio, ND

Contributes to the profitability of the retail operation by receiving, handling and helping manage the inventory of merchandise and supplies in a timely, organized manner. Positively impact the customer experience by maintaining visual standards by keeping the store and back room organized. Promote a high level of customer service and continually strive for innovative solutions and alternatives in bettering the business.

Major Areas of Responsibility

Establish and maintain a fully stocked, clean, well merchandised sales floor. Maintain organization of backstock for quick and easy access to new and gently used merchandise. Collaboration with the the Store Manager to create and execute floor plans to ensure a fully stocked floor based on the season.

  • Assist Store Manager in developing policy and procedures for the management of inventory storewide. Ensure staff members are following store policies / procedures and meeting store standards.
  • Drive Sales through a fully stocked, organized sales floor, following our guides for placement based on type, size, gender and color of item. Participate in development of staff; focusing on coaching, training, and role modeling desired behaviors.
  • Responsible for the timely flow of new and used merchandise to the sales floor and storage area. Ensure the sales floor is full at all times with the appropriate product.
  • Accurately track and document used inventories/bins and along with new inventory levels, utilizing inventory tools. Maintain a high level of back room/storage organization so that items may be easily located. Participate in preparing store for and conducting periodic inventory audits and annual counts.
  • Participate in the planning and execution of seasonal merchandising changes, floor transitions, clearance, in-season mark downs and events (sale or other) according to standards and expectations. Consistently re-evaluate floor design and allocated space
  • Communication with team to assist in adjusting buying guidelines for high and low demand items
  • Responsible for input of new merchandise and communicating ordering needs, including inputting new merchandise into our inventory system.
  • Promote and role model a culture of positive leadership and customer service.

Pay depends on experience and availability. Eligible for monthly bonuses based upon performance. Opportunities for employee discounts, flexible schedule and vacation.

Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
