Omnishield is a Coconut Creek, Florida based group of companies that produces premium antimicrobial products, develops and markets vehicle warranties, and assists airlines and cruise lines source and procure goods. We are looking for a Marketing Content Writer to lead our editorial efforts, promote our products, enrich our websites with new blog posts, and create all our printed and electronic content.

We are looking for someone whose writing can peak a reader’s interest and compel them to learn more about our products. The ideal candidate will have successful experience writing content for brochures, flyers, and other marketing medium intended to differentiate our products and highlight them as the best and only option to consider.

If you’re familiar with producing online and printed content and have an eye for detail, we’d like to meet you. Please share samples of your work including pieces that promote a brand or product along with your application. Ultimately, you must be able to deliver quality writing pieces that appeal to our audiences, attract customers and boost brand awareness.

Responsibilities

• Create content that people want to read, engage with, and share, that drives traffic and leads, and delivers sales and customer retention.
• Create content for brochures, flyers, and other POS marketing pieces
• Coordinate with design team to illustrate articles and marketing pieces
• Produce written content for websites.
• Conduct simple keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic
• Optimize content for search by writing strong meta tags, headings, and CTAs
• Develop, proofread and edit blog posts before publication
• Publish content via Wordpress and other CMS platforms
• Submit work to stakeholders for input and approval
• Promote content on social media
• Identify customers’ needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics
• Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images and tone)

Skills and Experience

• Proven work experience as a Marketing Content Writer with core responsibilities of promoting a brand and/or product(s).
• Portfolio of marketing writings including product and/or brand flyers, brochures, advertisements, and blog posts.
• The ability to write according to brand tone, voice and objectives.
• Experience doing research using multiple sources
• Excellent writing and editing skills in English
• Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (e.g. WordPress)
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Degree in Marketing, Communication, English or related field

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $75,000.00 per year
