Manufacturing and Distribution Manager Requirements:

• Education and Training: High School education or equivalent or as deemed sufficient by management
• Technical Requirements: Competent in the use of various computer programs. Proficient in Excel and KPI reporting. 
• Good communication and conflict resolution skills.
• Forklift certification.
• Experience: 3-5 years’ experience, or as deemed sufficient by management

Manufacturing and Distribution Manager Responsibilities:

• Oversee warehouse operations to ensure accuracy, completeness, and condition of in-coming and out-going shipments.
• Supervise the day-to-day operations and activities of warehouse personnel and operations, including interviewing, staffing, scheduling and problem resolution.
• Approve requisitions for equipment, materials, and supplies.
• Complete required paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.
• Enforce compliance of personnel with administrative policies, procedures, safety rules and industry regulations.
• Inspect warehouse facilities and equipment for maintenance issues and notify appropriate person when repairs are needed.
• Approve work schedules, PTO days, and related activities.
• Answer inquiries on types of service offered, rates, schedules, and areas serviced.
• Investigate customer complaints involving such matters as damaged items, overcharges, and delay in shipment, and make necessary adjustments.
• Safely operate forklift or other company-owned vehicles as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
