Omniforce Solutions is Hiring a Scrum Master Near Houston, TX

If you are prepared to take the next step in your career, we want to talk with you! This individual will be expected to lead and drive software development activities leveraging a wide range of technologies to deliver efficiency gains for the wider operations organization via enhanced automation. These efforts will require cross-functional working at both a process and technical level acknowledging the integration requirements with wider enterprise toolsets. 
Dedication to provide an excellent customer experience working with, and contributing to, the existing automation toolset implementing value-add activities driving efficiency and consistency. All automation and project work must be accompanied by extensive supporting documentation, and you will be required to oversee all elements of DevOps delivery realizing value by removing waste to increase operational efficiency, demonstrable via metrics. 
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Organizing and coordinating initiatives to drive teams to meet commitments based on quarterly plans
  • Project Scoping and portfolio management
  • Develop and implement processes and practices that enable teams to evolve to Lean methodologies and amplify continuous improvement of our SDLC and project management practices
  • Identify and implement metrics that drive TTM delivery and quality and adapt to change within a software development initiative.
  • Assist the organization in realizing maximum results and value on investments by leveraging agile frameworks, methods, and practices
  • Work to create a positive experience for our team, customers, and business partners
  • Guide the scrum team from all external interruptions while making sure the team sticks with tasks it has originally committed to in every sprint
  • Coordinate operational issues and facilitating cross-team coordination
  • Participate in all aspects of sprint planning to determine and execute development activities. This includes story pointing, sprint story assignments, refine stories, daily scrums and sprint retrospectives.
  • Work continuously to bring the key performance indicators in order to accomplish the sprint goal
  • Eliminate roadblocks for successful iterations to lead to one time releases
  • Provide support to the teams using a servant leadership style and leading by example
  • Create innovative techniques for estimation and prioritizing User Stories
Minimum Requirements:
  • Proven experience designing and driving the subsequent delivery of infrastructure and processes that both drive and house enterprise scale DevOps delivery.
  • A proven track record of taking manual activities and streamlining their implementation via automated techniques in a large-scale operational environment, executed in alignment with established Incident and Change Management processes
  • Documentation skills for all audiences (Design Documents, Logic Flows, Data Modeling, Project Plans, Support Documents)
  • Accomplished at building strong interpersonal relationships and positive customer experiences.
  • Linux, Python, JavaScript, PowerShell, BASH or equivalent, OpenSSH, YAML, TypeScript
  • Knowledgeable in designing full-stack web applications and integrations (OpenAPI, REST, SOAP, RPC, web sockets, HTTPS, Kafka)
  • Proven experience standardizing DevOps pipelines (Junit, Postman, Jenkins, SonarQube, GitHub, Swagger/Hub)
