Title: Business Development Associate

Location: New York, NY

Department/Discipline: Business Development

Responsibilities:

  • Schedule team meetings and recap key next steps
  • Collaborate with new business team leaders to align on approach and process for new business opportunities
  • Manage the status and progress of deliverables
  • Proactively facilitate communication across the team and follow up with assigned project teams to ensure timelines are on track
  • Own content for new business projects including developing new content independently as well as collaborating with the broader project team
  • Train and develop skills of more junior business development team members
  • Delegate tasks to more junior business development team members when appropriate
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of assigned therapeutic area

Experience:

  • Must have 1 - 2 year’s work experience in a professional environment, familiarity with healthcare and/or pharmaceutical industry is a plus
  • Must have strong writing skills and have experience developing proposals and presentations
  • Experience in project management, specifically having ownership of multiple workstreams
  • Excellent verbal skills and comfortable presenting to small groups and facilitating discussions
  • A keen interest in market access
  • Detail oriented with excellent time management skills
  • Experience with CRM software (ie, Salesforce) is a plus

The range below represents the low and high end of the base salary someone in this role may earn as an employee of an Omnicom Health Group company in the United States. Salaries will vary based on various factors including but not limited to professional and academic experience, training, associated responsibilities, and other business and organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of our total compensation package for employees. Salary decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each hire.

  • $70,000 - $72,000
