Job Description

To guide and direct the operations of the Guest Services (Valet, Bell, Door) department to ensure that services are commensurate with guest/client expectations and established performance standards while achieving the financial goals of the department.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee Valet, Door & Bell Services, reporting to the Director of Operations
  • Lead guest experience with the arrival/departure process, generate action plans and achieve best-in-class results in Coyle shop, KPIs and Medallia Scores
  • Communicate and work closely with Catering, Sales, F&B, and Front Office on events to plan for arrival/departure and vehicle movements
  • Cultivate relationships with Sales, Catering and Conference Services to create unique experiences for our Group and Catering guests
  • Work closely with Loyalty Ambassador to anticipate and create memorable guest experiences
  • Assist all Front of House operations as needed
  • Ensuring proper coverage in the lobby meeting and greeting guests
  • Manage relevant expenses of the department
  • Ensure exterior Front Drive is well maintained, coordinating with engineering and housekeeping on polishing and maintenance needs
  • Ensure safety & security practices are maintained within the Front Drive to eliminate vehicle damage and/or theft
  • Handle guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible, resolving guest issues and assisting with guest inquires as required and ensuring guest issues are resolved within 24 hours.
  • Assist guests in all inquiries in connection with hotel services, hours of operations, key hotel personnel, in-house events, directions
  • Respond to all guest requests in an accurate and timely manner making recommendations based on local knowledge and hotel practices, taking opportunities to create extraordinary and memorable experiences whenever possible
  • Maintain Hotel Town Car (Service and Cleanliness)
  • Coordinate special permits for Valet Drivers
  • Perform any additional duties as assigned by Management

Qualifications

  • Minimum one year Hospitality management, to include Front desk
  • Must possess strong, guest-driven leadership and communication skills to effectively lead the hotel Valet, Bell and Door operations teams; hands-on, participative leadership style
  • Ability to communicate, verbally and written, in the English language
  • Must have thorough working knowledge of on-site parking system
  • Accounting/budgeting experience and skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Proof of safe driving record
  • Valid California state driver's license
  • Must be able to drive and familiar with all manual and automatic vehicles
  • High volume transportation/parking experience
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screening
  • RBS Alcohol Certification is required upon hire
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities at the same time and manage time effectively
  • Highly developed organizational, planning and problem-solving skills, guest resolutions
  • Ability to work under fast paced, constantly changing conditions without becoming frustrated
  • Survey and assess competitor’s parking rates and suggest rate change as necessary
  • Knowledgeable in programs such as but not limited to, Kronos, Birchstreet, Oracle, Micros

Pay range: $65,000 - $71,000. The pay scale provided is a range that Omni Hotels & Resorts reasonably expects to pay. Actual compensation offered may fluctuate based on a candidate’s qualifications and/or experience
