Proposal Writer 

Ombud is looking for a full-time Proposal Writer to join our team. As a member of our Customer Success organization, you will work with existing customers to support their proposal response processes as an extension of their team. You will play a key role both for our clients and our whole organization in asset generation and client retention by developing compelling proposals and client materials. This role partners with key stakeholders enterprise-wide - including Sales, Pre-Sales, InfoSec, C-Suite, Customer Success, Product Management/Development, and even current clients’ SMEs - to ensure accurate positioning and messaging of the firm’s product and services. You will effectively manage projects to completion, adhering to clear deadlines.

What You’ll Do:

• Become an Ombud product expert and use Ombud Rx for day to day proposal response management
• Manage the Ombud Extend process, our customer proposal management program, by successfully onboarding new Ombud Extend clients and facilitating ongoing requests from existing Ombud Extend customers
• Manage multiple projects while working collaboratively with different teams and organizations
• Oversee creation, editing, and production of all proposal components and related artifacts
• Seek opportunities to add new value, enhance processes/procedures, and improve content
• Build and maintain relationships with Subject Matter Experts to facilitate positive relationships during the proposal development process.
• At all times, promote end user satisfaction with our product and services
• Meet and exceed individual quantitative and qualitative goals

About You:

• 2-5 years in a proposal-focused role, customer success and/or account management experience is a plus
• Experience with industry-best practices in proposal management, i.e., APMP Membership & certification
• Experience working across multiple product lines at a technology company
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Significant experience working with Microsoft Office suite of products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat
• Ability to independently manage multiple priorities, often under time constraints, and with changing requirements
• Able to adapt and thrive with change
• Professional customer service demeanor
• Strong editing and proofreading skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred

Annual Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 Bonus
