OLIVER North America is Hiring a Remote Project Manager

We are hiring a Project Manager to work with one of our newest Technology services clients.

Our ideal candidate is highly motivated with strong organizational skills, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, managing resources, timelines, asking questions to uncover client insights, and leading said insights into development. 

As the Project Manager, you are the hub that keeps the in-house agency’s operations running smoothly. This essential role within our agency will ensure the smooth creation and delivery of great work. This role requires someone who pays great attention to detail to handle heavy client interaction and a large volume of projects simultaneously. This role will also be responsible for managing hours, billing, resourcing, timelines, and schedules.

What you will be doing:

Overall

  • Engage in active client interaction, taking briefs and asking crucial questions for project success.
  • Manage multiple projects, ensuring they are delivered efficiently and of high quality.
  • Facilitate integrated planning across the agency and brand team to elevate brands and push industry boundaries.
  • Collaborate with the Account Director and Creative team, ensuring projects are in scope and on time.
  • Assign, prioritize, and manage resources, both internal and external.
  • Exhibit connectivity and coordination, effectively managing stakeholders and project approvals adeptly.
  • Conduct regular status meetings, providing project updates and ensuring progress.

Project Set Up

  • Taking overall ownership of integrated creative projects from brief to fulfillment, in partnership with account and creative.
  • Working closely with account teams in preparing milestones for the client.
  • Liaising with clients to determine campaign scope and produce estimates and schedules.
  • Identifying, exploiting, and managing ad hoc opportunities when they arise.
  • Working with account teams to agree and create timing plans and estimates within our internal time and tracking system.

Creative Development Process:

  • Collaborate with the internal team throughout the creative process from brief to release.
  • Take in client feedback, make key decisions and recommendations for the best way forward.
  • Support the creative team, willing to take risks to uncover unique opportunities for brands.

Project Delivery

  • Schedule projects in line with the correct internal resource and help to source external resource where necessary.
  • Ensure projects follow the agency process and are completed on time and on budget.
  • Motivate and manage teams under tight deadlines.
  • Educate and manage internal stakeholders in relevant production processes where necessary.
  • Drive efficiency and creative excellence at all times.

Finance:

  • Open jobs, produce estimates, Purchase Orders, and manage billing and reconciliation.
  • Maintain and manage project budgets, ensuring projects are delivered within scope for assigned brands.
  • Comfortably discuss and back scope-based projects into budgets with clients.

What you need to be great in this role:

  • 5 years of experience in an advertising agency, marketing firm, or client side working in a client facing capacity, from handling client queries, to taking full and conclusive briefs.
  • Proven experience managing multichannel campaign projects, ensuring they are on strategy, on time, and within budget.
  • Thrive in a self-directed environment, while recognizing when team collaboration is necessary.
  • Have an innate ability to identify and manage project risk and ask questions when necessary.
  • Previous experience of project budget management and scheduling.
  • Previous experience of resource and production services sourcing.
  • Excellent client engagement skills with the ability to proactively organize and influence clients and build strong and effective working relationships.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Have a positive, can-do outlook, willing to leverage past experience to provide the best solution for each project you own.
  • Be willing to share your experience where relevant and when it adds to the offering to the client.
  • Proactivity and a willingness to ensure project success.
  • Be financially conscientious when managing the delivery of a project, ensuring all relevant parties are aware of the financial implications of delays, additional amends, and re-briefs.
  • Be able to verify the qualitative and quantitative output of a project against the project objectives.
  • Understanding of how to integrate with a client-side team while maintaining a top-tier agency service.
  • Nice to have: Scrum Certification
  • At the time of this posting, the base salary for this position may range from $80,000.00 to $90,000.00. Individual compensation varies based on job related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications. The range listed is just one component of our total compensation package.
