Responsibilities

Checks in incoming supply, furniture, and equipment deliveries. Inspects deliveries and materials being shipped to identify errors, defects, problems, or exterior damage. Coordinates with departments the moving or delivering of furniture, materials, and equipment to labs and offices, including offsite locations. Makes office deliveries of office supplies (i.e., copier paper, copier toner, and generic stationery), by lifting, pushing, pulling, or carrying objects as required. May notify departments of receipt of express packages. Performs occasional errands using company vehicles. May assist mailroom, maintenance, and event personnel with repairs, renovations and room setup/teardown. Performs other duties as requested by supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent. Valid Oklahoma driver’s license required.

Knowledge of safety procedures (i.e., lifting, moving heavy furniture and equipment), purchase order process, departments/mail stop numbers, packaging, shipping, and return requirements.

Successful candidates must possess excellent interpersonal skills and be customer service oriented, cooperative, a team player, and contribute towards team goals. Highly attentive and careful towards instructions and objectives. Reads and respects documents, instructions, and protocols. Performs work accurately. Excellent communication skills. Receptive to constructive criticism, new ideas, and collaboration.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience in a receiving/mailroom environment.

Basic computer skills and knowledge (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook, Etc.)

Work Hours

Typically, Monday through Friday, 8:30PM – 5:00PM
