This requires farmers, engineers, scientists, product managers, and members of many other backgrounds to work together day-in and day-out to innovate, while operating increasingly large farms. We have an amazing mission-driven team of highly motivated and engaged members. We are seeking a Senior Program Manager to oversee all aspects of Oishii’s farm expansion initiatives. As the Senior Program Manager, your job is to get farms operating on time and on budget. To do this, you will pull together cross functional teams, work with internal and external stakeholders, and drive execution of your crystal clear strategic direction. You will leverage your deep experience managing projects of significant scale and complexity, preferably in the physical world, to make key decisions and allocate resources. As an extension of senior management, you will work closely with leaders across the organization and must always be the embodiment of Oishii’s strong cultural tenets of teamwork, focus, and execution.

As the Senior Program Manager, you will: 

• Oversee and coordinate a group of best-in-class senior functional leaders to ensure all elements of farm deployment projects are in synch, including site selection, design, construction, plant preparation, and operations 
• Set and communicate strategic direction to build and industry leading farm deployment organization capable of rapidly and efficiently building and operating farms globally 
• Identify and eliminate bottlenecks across all elements of project scope, from site selection to hiring and operation 
• Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders, external suppliers, municipalities, utilities, manufacturers, and contractors 
• Build standard operating procedures and the farm deployment roadmap 
• Understand and integrate the R&D technology pipeline into farm deployment planning, seamlessly transitioning new technologies into farm deployments 
• Travel to all farm deployments to provide personal oversight to implementation, coordinate with local stakeholders, and ensure facilities are ready for operation 

Senior Program Manager requirements: 

• 10 years of project management experience, with preference to the built / physical worlds and clear demonstrated track record of delivering projects with significant scope and complexity 
• Experience in fast paced, demanding work environment 
• Able to dig in deeply to understand new/foreign topics rapidly and provide management with strategic guidance 
• Natural leader capable of motivating your teams to accomplish ambitious goals
• Able to combine analytical, operational, and strategic expertise 
• Strong communicator capable of navigating conversations at the executive level, with external partners, and with junior team members 
• Significant experience in handling difficult interpersonal situations 
• Results oriented and capable of designing and managing key metrics 
• Team player with exceptional collaborative skills 
• Highly organized with strong task management and prioritization skills
• Comfortable with ambiguity and able to provide structure to chaos 
• Incredible ownership mindset - you do not make excuses, you just get the job done
• Engineering or technical background preferred
• Willing to travel domestically and internationally 
• Engineering background and/or MBA preferred
