We’re seeking a People Operations Administrator to join the Oishii team! 

We are looking for a highly motivated HR professional who is looking to grow (with us)! This individual should understand the foundational concepts of HR as they will support the company with day-to-day HR administrative operations. Your support and contribution in People Operations will ensure that Oishii can continue to delight the strawberry-lovers that we serve today. If you are ready to help us grow the best-tasting berries in the world, then we want to meet you!

As a HR Administrator at Oishii you will drive: (include, but not limited to)

Onboarding/Offboarding

  • Facilitate background checks once offers are extended
  • Drive new hire preparations and HRIS set-up, inclusive of new hire paperwork collection, I-9 certification and IT set up
  • Assist in onboarding new overseas employees and interns
  • Create and maintain new hire checklist
  • Support offboarding processes

Employee relations

  • Act as the point of contact for the HR team, and answer employee’s HR-related inquiries or requests
  • Prepare employee documents as needed

Employee data maintenance

  • Maintain confidential HR data

HRIS management

  • Update and manage HRIS platform, working with system providers
  • Serve as a HRIS and Self-Service system expert to help support employees with inquiries or requests
  • Run reports in HRIS and prepare HR documents

Compliance

  • Assist in staying relevant and compliant with all HR laws and regulations
  • Organize and maintain all personnel records required for compliance with state, federal law, and local governmental regulations, inclusive of registering business in new state and get ID
  • Support compliance reporting to governmental agencies.

Policies and procedures

  • Update and maintain company policies and procedures
  • Maintain and update HR procedures manual
  • Maintain company organization chart
  • Assist in the administration of HR policies, benefits and programs

Others 

  • Assist in preparing and processing payroll
  • Assist in coordinating necessary HR training
  • Assist HR team with special projects and initiatives

  • Ability to pay attention to details and maintain a high degree of accuracy.
  • Strong organizational, analytical and problem solving skills
  • Great at relationship building and willing to support people
  • Approachable friendly demeanor with excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to multitask and work in a fast paced environment
  • Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability to changes
  • Computer literate with capability in MS office, and HR systems/tools.
  • Knowledge of general HR practices, policies and guidelines is a plus

Requirements for our HR Administrator:

  • Bachelor’s Degree; prefer at least 1-2 years supporting HR function
  • 2 years of experience in an HR role
  • Able to work full time
  • Must have demonstrated ability to deal with confidential and highly sensitive information
  • Ability to pay attention to details and maintain a high degree of accuracy.
  • Strong computer literate with capability in MS office, and HR systems/tools (ADP).
  • Authorized to work in the US
