Are you handy with tools? Do you like building things? We are looking for a responsible Furniture Installer-Delivery Driver.
Responsibilities
- Deliver and assemble a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes
- Follow routes and time schedule
- Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle
- Complete logs and process paperwork
- Follow DOT regulations and safety standards
Skills
- Valid driver’s license (class C preferred for IL drivers)
- Ability to consistently lift up to 80 lbs as well as walking, bending, and climbing stairs
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Good driving record
- High school degree or equivalent
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Able to read and interpret furniture assembly instructions
- Able to use hand tools such as tape measure, drill, screw drivers and wrenches.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
