DURATION OF APPOINTMENT: Permanent

COLLECTIVE BARGAINING UNIT: This position is not in a collective bargaining unit. 

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: This position is located in theOffice of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO),Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO).The incumbent plans, directs, and coordinates the work of IT staff responsible for supporting ERP business applications analysis and development. Duties include but are not limited to; serving as a consultant to the business units on software evaluation; reviewing requirement traceability matrixes for accuracy and completeness, conducting test cases and analyzing their results to confirm systems perform as expected; overseeing projects, developing application support plans, prioritizing application maintenance requirements; developing and implementing goals, objectives, policies, procedures, scheduling work assignments and work standards for the assigned unit; assisting in the preparation and administration of the IT budget. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Seven (7) years of progressive experience performing duties and responsibilities such as developing functional and technical design documents; testing and implementing technical solutions; documenting business processes, business needs analysis and business mapping; managing tasks and resources associated with each project phase; developing and implementing strategic plans, policies, and procedures; making recommendations on new technology solutions and system modernization; and, at least two (2) years of experience managing staff and leading across functional areas. Incumbent must have previous experience with Oracle EBS. Oracle Cloud Financials experience is highly desired.
Experience that provides the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the normal line of progression for this position.

COLLECTIVE BARGAINING UNIT:
Employment with the OCFO is at will. However, the discipline and/or discharge of bargaining unit employees is governed by the collective bargaining agreement.

SALARY REDUCTION OF REEMPLOYED ANNUITANTS:
An individual selected for employment in the District Government on or after January 1, 1980, who is receiving an annuity under any District government civilian retirement system, shall have his or her pay reduced by the amount of annuity allocable to the period of employment as a reemployed annuitant.
