Hopemont Hospital _ WV Department of Health and Human Resources

Will be Lead Housekeeper on the afternoon shift, 11:30 am - 7:30 pm. Will guide/train other housekeepers. Responsible for housekeepers on the shift and assure completion of all assignments. Will perform all paperwork as needed and will complete all custodial tasks as required. Will meet with supervisor daily or as required. Knowledge of all equipment used to perform housekeeping functions. Responsible for granting Housekeepers access to the Housekeeping Supply Room. Will assist supervisor with inventory control. Will provide general assistance to housekeeping staff as assigned in absence of supervisor. Mandatory overtime is an essential function of this position. Applicants selected for employment must successfully complete a chemical urinalysis and breath analysis drug screening test. All employees shall be subject to drug testing for probable cause as set forth in agency and Bureau policies. Applicants must successfully pass a background check. This is a smoke/tobacco free campus. Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Experience: Two years of full-time or equivalent part-time experience in housekeeping or related work, at least one year of which must have been in an institutional or recreational setting.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $10.27 - $19.00 per hour
