Off The Hook Restaurants is Hiring a Maintenance Tech Near Baton Rouge, LA
Job Description
Responsibilities
- Travel to Off The Hook locations in Baton Rouge and surrounding areas to perform general maintenance and inspections of restaurant equipment and facilities, making repairs when necessary.
- Inspect, operate, or test restaurant equipment to diagnose problems and determine how to correct them, checking repair manuals & parts catalogs, as necessary.
- Install or replace machinery, equipment, and new or replacement parts and instruments, using hand or power tools.
- Install and repair wiring, electrical or electronic components, machinery, or equipment.
- Paint or repair windows, doors, floors, woodwork, plaster, drywall, or other parts of building structures.
- Communicate appropriate information with the admin team to have parts ordered as needed.
- Communicate with restaurant staff and leadership on proper cleaning/daily maintenance of equipment when necessary.
- Valid Drivers License (Required)
- Competent in the use of hand and power tools (Required)
- Understanding of basic electrical and mechanical systems (Required)
- Ability to push, pull, lift, and carry objects that are more than 50 pounds (Required)
- HVAC or Electrician education/certifications (Preferred)
- 1 year of related experience required
Salary: $12.00 - $16.00 per hour
Work Location: In-person. Hammond, Gonzales, and Baton Rouge restaurants.
