***COME JOIN US IN OPENING A NEW RESIDENTIAL TREATMENT CENTER****

The Human Resource Generalist is responsible for supporting human resource functions for Aster Springs - Nashville operations, provides technical support across multiple facilities. Duties include recruiting, boarding/off-boarding, reporting, payroll processing, HRIS and LMS management. The Human Resource Generalist provides internal customer service to employees and managers regarding policies and procedures.

Relationships and Contacts

Within the organization: Initiates and maintains strong professional relationships with peers, immediate supervisor, and leadership throughout the organization.

Outside the organization: Initiates and maintains strong professional relationships with clients and families, clinical providers, referral partners and vendors, as needed.

Essential Responsibilities

  1. Assists with implementation and administration of human resource related initiatives including committee engagement, roundtable, awards/recognition, etc. under the direction of the AVP of Human Resources.
  2. Responds to inquiries in a timely manner, escalating items though appropriate channels when necessary.
  3. Collaborates with hiring managers, anticipates, and responds to staffing needs ensuring operations and client services are maintained at all times.
  4. Coordinates benefits enrollment for eligible employees.
  5. Maintains HRIS ensuring accuracy and integrity of data and compiles reports from database.
  6. Acts as a liaison to the third-party benefits administrator, supporting benefits administration to include reporting, enrollments, and terminations.
  7. Coordinates with peers in other locations for timely and accurate payroll submissions.
  8. Reconciles facility position control rosters to staffing grids and FTE reports.
  9. Provides support for the learning management system ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  10. Monitors dates for compliance with performance review dates, certifications, license, etc.
  11. Processes retirement plan enrollments, contributions, and terminations.
  12. Maintains accurate and confidential personnel records ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Additional Responsibilities

  1. Acts as a point of customer service for staff on items related to Paycom, Relias, and benefit access.
  2. Conducts employment verification and appropriate background/reference checks in accordance with policy, as needed.
  3. Assists with the maintenance, creation, and distribution of HR related forms and communications.
  4. Attends meetings as requested.
  5. Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

Qualifications


Education and Experience

Position requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field and 5 years’ experience in Human Resources. PHR strongly preferred.
