About the Role:

As a Project Manager you will be a part of the Implementation Team which is subset of the broader Customer Success organization at OCR. The Customer Success team works to ensure customers are happy and find immense value in the tools that OCR provides. We’re on the front line, being the first point of contact for customers that have questions, are encountering issues, or need more support. As the Project Manager, you will establish and maintain working relationships with technology management, business management, program sponsors, vendors and business clients.  You will also be responsible for owning, onboarding, and training of all new customers and setting them up for success from Day 1.

This role works closely with business unit leaders, subject matter experts, Information Technology, testers, and vendor teams through each stage of the implementation. You will understand and prioritize our client’s compliance, supply chain, and technology needs to ensure the features and tools developed to deliver value to our customers.

One size does not fit all. Our implementation process for our clients varies in complexity and can be as short as one week or could last months. It's common to run several implementations concurrently. While our clients are located all over the world, this role has only modest travel (10-20%) at most. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Partner with the Project Management Office, Customer Success Managers, Solutions Architect, and our customers to understand the scope of the project, create a project plan based on the Statement of Work (SOW), and supervise and drive the implementation through to successful completion.
• Act as the primary point of contact with customers, updating client and internal management on project status, issues, additional scope, i.e., adhering to the "no surprises" mantra.
• Managing client expectations, and being comfortable telling them what is in scope vs out of scope is critical.

• Manage project-related paperwork by ensuring all necessary materials are current, properly filed and stored.
• Investigate and solve complicated questions about data and OCR’s tools.
• Coordinate training sessions for our customers to help them get value out of OCR’s products and accomplish their core strategic goals.
• Participate in project design meetings and provide recommendations, where applicable.
• Drive heavy adoption on the OCR EASE platform while helping customers meet their goals and achieve value.
• Mentoring fellow PMs, and helping them to be successful.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Software Engineering preferred.
• US Citizen or Green Card Holder – We are unable to sponsor Visa holders at this time.

• Professional Project Management Certification (PMP or equivalent).

• 5 years of working as a Project Manager, Project Engineer, Implementation Manager/Consultant, or similar role at a software company or public entity.
• Experience with Project Management & Software Development Tools such as ClickUp, Jira, or Redmine.
• Experience managing multiple stakeholders and vendors for one project, holding them accountable to responsibilities and timelines, and driving each project.
