Responsibilities include coordination of internal technical team, oversight of vendors, and technical interface with clients.Work with technical team to design, innovate and troubleshoot novel optical sensor systems and signal processing hardware with specific characteristics that meet or exceed customer specifications. Design suitable embedded system interfaces through software and firmware to control optical and infrared system operation. Design and test digital hardware and electronic circuitry with specific characteristics and meet or exceed customer specifications.Incorporates methods for maintenance and repair of components and designs, and develops test instrumentation and test procedures.Contribute to a range of technology development projects while working with multi-disciplinary teams.Bring market knowledge to help craft technical and programmatic win strategies.Provide technical expertise, knowledge, pursuit strategy, and business opportunities relative to the above tasks. THE EXPERTISE WE’RE LOOKING FOR: BS in Electrical Engineering with scientific experience, required. MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering preferred. Must be able to obtain a security clearance. Existing secret, top secret, and/or SCI clearance a plus. Competent, broad technical knowledge of analog and digital electronics components required. Extensive experience with analog and digital circuit design, fabrication, testing and troubleshooting preferred. Experience with high-speed mixed-signal electronics preferred. Experience in business development, customer relationships, concept development, and report/proposal writing preferred. Broad technical knowledge to support development of innovative electronic systems, including skills and experience in: FPGA/Xilinx programming with Vivado/compiler experienceExperience with embedded systems.Programming skills in MATLAB, Python, LabVIEW, C/C Hands-on experience with lab test equipment such as oscilloscope, logic analyzer, network analyzer, spectrum analyzer, and signal generator Analog/mixed-signal component and system design experience Signal processing and algorithm development skills PCB layout, fabrication, testing, troubleshooting experience Familiarity with integrated circuit designs and technologies Familiarity with optical systems such as focal plane arrays EEO Employer/Vets/Disabled
