Oasys International Corporation is Hiring a Project Manager Near Washington, DC

Position Summary:

Oasys prides itself on delivering efficient, effective solutions across various industries. The key to our success is largely dependent on the stellar ability of our program management team. We’re currently searching for an experienced Project Manager to join our ranks and continue our tradition of success. The ideal candidate will have a sharp business mind and a proven ability to strategize and implement program initiatives. As a natural-born leader, you will have a strong talent for project coordination and delegation. Ultimately, you are motivated by the desire to optimize productivity and nurture program success from inception to completion.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the project sponsor, cross-functional teams, and management analysts to plan and develop scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for new initiatives.
  • Manage project teams for optimal return on investment and coordinate and delegate cross-project initiatives.
  • Identify key requirements needed from cross-functional teams and external vendors.
  • Develop and manage the project budget and be accountable for delivering against established business goals/objectives.
  • Analyze, evaluate, and overcome program risks and produce program reports for management and stakeholders.
  • Strategize, implement, and maintain program initiatives that adhere to organizational objectives.
  • Develop program assessment protocols for evaluation and improvement.
  • Maintain organizational standards of satisfaction, quality, and performance.
  • Oversee multiple project teams, ensuring program goals are reached.
  • Manage budget and funding channels for maximum productivity.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Exceptional leadership, time management, facilitation, and organizational skills.
  • Outstanding working knowledge of change management principles and performance evaluation processes.
  • Ability to develop and communicate new concepts via written and spoken interaction; apply them accurately throughout an evolving environment; organize, schedule, and coordinate work phases; and determine the appropriate approach at the task level or, with assistance, at the project level to provide solutions to a range of complex problems.
  • Demonstrates strong initiative and work ethic.
  • Success in a position requires the consistent display of the following key abilities:
    • Communication skills to document, develop, and present technical issues, so stakeholders across the organization readily understand the content and their related actions.
    • Excellent computer, documentation, and presentation.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to a changing environment and learn new technology concepts, including software and hardware.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for design, creation, and testing.
  • Ability to multi-task and support multiple priorities.
  • Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.

Education/Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business administration or related technical discipline from an accredited institution
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience managing federal government contracts as a program manager. Minimum ten (10) years of experience with no degree.

Security Clearance:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Must have a Public Trust 

Certification:

  • PMP Certification
