Position Summary:

Oasys is seeking to fill a Site Network Administrator position. The successful candidate will have a complete understanding and wide application of technical principles, theories, and concepts. Working under only a general direction provides technical solutions to many difficult problems. Independently determines and develops an approach to solutions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate their ability for continued growth and desire to take on increasing levels of responsibility within the organization.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze the existing network architecture and provide designs of current/modern WAN/MAN/LAN technologies
• Recommend best practices such as SDN, Intent-based networking, network segmentation protocols, etc., to improve the existing architecture and meet new networking requirements
• Design telecommunications circuit specifications
• Identify the need for routers, switches, and encryption devices to support enterprise services
• Deliver service catalog items for automatically provisioning network configurations to deliver
• Infrastructure-as -Code: Develop and maintain network architecture specifications and artifacts

Skills/Qualifications:

• Proven expertise with Cisco network hardware, including: routers, switches, firewalls, unified communications equipment
• Proven experience in VMware environments
• Proven experience in virtual and physical Internet Protocol and Fiber Channel networks and routing protocols
• Proven experience designing, optimizing, and troubleshooting LAN, WAN, and low bandwidth networks protected by network encryptors

Education/Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in computer science or related technical discipline from an accredited institution, with five (5) years of experience or a Master’s degree and three (3) years of experience.

Clearance:

• U.S. citizenship required
• Must possess an active TS/SCI clearance with SCI eligibility

Desired Certification:

• Must have a current DoD 8570.1-M IAT Level II certification (i.e., Security CE)
• VMware Certified Professional (VCP)
• Professional-level MS, Linux, VMware, or Cloud certifications
• ITIL 4 Foundations certification desired
