Role Description:
The Network Administrator should be able to provide local area network and wide area network administration services, to provide for the continued and correct functional operation of the entire computer network, and to provide network-related support to all end users. Work involves administering, monitoring, maintaining, updating, documenting, planning, and troubleshooting all network-related hardware, software, operating systems, and resources.
Core Responsibilities:
Manage the Network admin queue (work closely with our Help Desk professionals working network related tickets)
Troubleshoot IT issues with desktop, server, and network teams
Ensuring continuous uptime for computers, servers, and peripherals, and working with vendors to service basic medical equipment
Assisting with the implementation of IT strategy
Working with vendors to manage network infrastructure
Coordinating with an outsourced IT service provider as needed
Coordinating installation and maintenance of IT systems at new locations
Assist with company expansion and be able to oversee daily construction progress for the IT buildout
Procuring hardware and software
Deploying hardware for new and legacy locations in a multi-state environment
Other duties, as assigned
What we’re looking for
We’re looking for a motivated, experienced Network Administrator with:
Minimum of 5 years of network administration experience
Team lead or management experience is a plus
Experience working with multiple vendors, Cisco, Meraki, Adtran, Centurylink, AT&T, Comcast
Bachelor’s degree
Minimum requirements – CCNA, CCDP, CCNP
Access to reliable transportation (work-related travel expenses will be reimbursed)
Cisco IOS experience – routers, switches, WLCs, AP’s
Adtran – routers, switches
Meraki – routers, switches. AP’s
Enterprise routing experience in a hosted data center environment
MPLS and DIA circuits – multiple LECs
Rack / Stack / Config network equipment in field locations
Hosted VOIP experience – QOS / COS
SNMP monitoring and configuration, NetFlow monitoring
IDS & IPS monitoring and configuration
LV vendors – cabling, 2 pole racks, patch panels, horizontal and vertical wire management
Fiber – single and multimode configurations
US work authorization
