OVERVIEW:
Under the leadership of the Director of Nursing, supervisesthe nursing personnel ant the day – to –day nursing activities of the facility
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinateand provide total nursing care for patients
- Assessresident condition and nursing needs, sets goals, prescribe appropriate actionsto meet goals and the age-related, physical, psychological, social, andrehabilitative needs of the resident
- Assigncare to team members in accordance with the resident’s needs and thepersonnel’s capabilities and qualifications
- Assessand evaluate patient’s response to care plan and prioritize and implementappropriate changes to plan
- Collaborate,assess, and coordinate discharge planning needs with other health care teammembers
- Oversees clinical andnonclinical acute hospital operations and continuum of
REQUIREMENTS:
- Valid Registered Nurse License in the State of Florida
- CPR/BLS certified
- 2 years nursing experience in a nursing home or otherhealthcare setting and a minimum 1-year experience as a nurse supervisor
