Repair Shop Technician

City Floor Supply, a leading distributor of hardwood flooring products, seeks a skilled Repair Shop Technician to join our team in King of Prussia, PA. Ideal candidates will be mechanically savvy, with a keen understanding of basic machine operations and electrical systems, including motors and diagrams. Experience with standard shop tools, such as lathes, meters, and hand tools is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing exceptional customer service through friendly and professional interactions with our repair shop customers.
• Conducting thorough inspections of machines and tools to identify issues.
• Developing comprehensive repair plans and executing timely repairs.
• Documenting repair processes and progress using our computer systems.

Note: You will receive on-the-job training to become well-acquainted with the products we offer.

Requirements:

• At least two years of experience in repair-focused roles.
• A High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Basic computer skills.
• The physical ability to lift at least 70 lbs. and comfortably perform various physical tasks required in a shop setting such as bending, stooping, standing, and kneeling.

Compensation and Additional Details:

• Starting at $18.00 per hour
• Full-Time Monday through Friday, complete with a comprehensive benefits package.
