RESPONSIBILITIES

JOB DESCRIPTION

Orbach Affordable Housing is seeking a Property Manager, for an affordable apartment community in Seneca, SC to join our dynamic team.

This individual needs to have an eye for detail and the ability to operate on a deadline driven schedule. The ideal candidate would possess strong organizational, analytical, problem solving, data entry skills. We require 3 years’ experience working in Project Based Section 8 and LIHTC programs.

Daily responsibilities:

· Contributing and overseeing the process for initial, annual, and interim recertifications, in addition to

retroactive rent-calculations while conforming to Section 8 and LIHTC guidelines.

· Understanding the process on calculating assets in accordance with the 4350.3 handbook.

· Calculating rents for annual and interim recertifications.

Understanding when to run the EIV Reports in accordance with the company policies in place.

· Identifying households with income discrepancies and creating repayment agreements.

· Reviewing applicant files and complying with Section 8 eligibility requirements.

Background profile:

· Knowledge of Project Based Section 8, voucher, and LIHTC programs.

· Must have excellent written and communication skills.

· Attention to detail is expected.

A team player and can-do attitude is a must.

· Must be capable of overseeing multiple functions simultaneously, with a keen sense of prioritization.

· Reliable transportation to the property is required.

· COS Certification a plus.

-SC Property Manager's License a plus

· Onesite, Microsoft word, and excel knowledge is a plus.

- Bi-lingual (Spanish/English) is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
