Hospitality Health ER is a freestanding ER located in Longview, TX and Tyler, TX. We have an immediate need for a full-time IT Technician to support our Tyler, Texas location. We pride ourselves on providing exceptional hospitality and customer service to everyone that enters our facility, going above and beyond the call of duty. Description

HHER is looking for a part-time IT Technician that has the skills that can handle all aspects of IT in an ER Hospital atmosphere. The IT Technician will be able to install and maintain computer systems and networking to run at the highest functionality as well as handle any and all IT issues. The IT Technician must have general knowledge of computer software and hardware and how it to implement it effectively for any and all networks and operating systems that deem necessary. The ideal candidate will have great troubleshooting abilities and attention to detail, and will be able to learn how to navigate through new software by any and all means in their power. The goal is to build and maintain updated and efficient computer systems and networks to optimize the role of technology on business sustainability.

Responsibilities for the IT Technician

  • Set up workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices (routers, printers etc.)
  • Check computer hardware to ensure functionality
  • Install and configure appropriate software and functions according to specifications
  • Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems (repair or replace parts, debugging etc.)
  • Maintain records/logs of repairs and fixes and maintenance schedule

Skills & Requirements for the IT Technician

  • Proven experience as IT Technician or relevant position
  • Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication ability
  • Outstanding organizational and time-management skills
  • In depth understanding of diverse computer systems and networks
  • Degree in Computer Science, engineering or relevant field a plus not required.
  • Certification as IT Technician will be an advantage (e.g. CompTIA A , Microsoft Certified IT Professional)
  • Preferred: bilingual - Spanish
