Nyrstar East Tennessee Mines is Hiring a Crusher Operator-D Crew-Immel (East Tennessee Mines) Near Tennessee, TN

THE ROLE
The purpose of this role is to crush and size ore for further processing thru HMS and Grinding/Flotation 
circuits.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Safety, Health, Environment and Community 
• Demonstrate safe behavior at all times 
• Comply with the site’s standards and procedures in SHEC. 
• Demonstrate effective performance in achieving agreed SHEC goals in support of the 
department, site and company standards
• Reporting of all SHEC incidents Operations 
• Conduct pre-start checks 
• Start Crusher circuit
• Conduct after start checks 
• Perform routine operational checks 
• Clear blocked transfer chutes 
• Clear blinded and overloaded screens 
• Clear blocked feeders 
• Clear overloaded conveyor belts 
• Undertake general Crusher housekeeping 
• Implement lock-out tag-out procedure 
• Participate in effective shift handover procedures
• Work consistently towards maintaining production targets 
• Undertake fault finding and reporting 
• Conduct safe and efficient shutdown 
• Performs routine preventive maintenance in the circuit 
• Simple use of hand tools 
• Fill out proper reports and log books 
• Occasionally operate mobile equipment 
• Undertake other duties within level of competency as specified by the workplace foreman
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
Education: minimum GED completed 
Experience in mining/ milling operations or an industrial production environment desirable 
PREREQUISITE Modules completed for Crushing circuit
