Job Description

The Human Resources Coordinator assists in administering human resources policies and procedures for the HR team. Processes new hire paperwork according to established procedures. This role provides administrative support to the human resource function as needed, including but not limited to record-keeping, claims, employment law posters, file maintenance and HRIS entry.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assists recruiters as needed, tracking candidates in HRIS and responds with follow-up letters at the end of the recruiting process.
  • Schedules meetings and interviews as requested.
  • Assists M&A team with creating offer letters and onboarding of newly acquired employees, including but not limited to assisting with ADP registrations and general questions.
  • Assists with new-employee background checks, sending consent form, tracking status.
  • Makes photocopies; mails, scans and emails documents; and performs other clerical functions.
  • Assists or prepares correspondence as requested.
  • Prepares new employee folders and stores documents in electronic employee files.
  • Completes Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation and maintains I-9 files. 
  • Processes new hires, employee changes and terminations.
  • Conducts or assists with new employee orientation.
  • Assists the compensation team with monthly Employee Ownership Program enrollments and annual performance review/merit cycle.
  • Assists the benefits team with annual open enrollment.
  • Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned. 

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or related discipline
  • Minimum 2 years related experience
  • Proficiency in excel
  • Knowledge of relevant labor laws in the states in which we operate
  • High degree of personal integrity
  • High level of customer service mindset and experience 
  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred

Preferred Qualifications

  • ADP experience is a plus
  • M&A experience a plu
