WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION: In this position, you will get to: • Review purchasing agreements with vendors and maintain open lines of communications with those vendors • Compare product deliveries with issued purchase orders and contact vendors when there are discrepancies • Develop a supply base strategy that fits with business unit direction for technology, localization, and other requirements. • Drive cross functional teams on part qualification and work collaboratively with supplier for capacity planning and ramp. • Develop criteria and checklists to meet Company's requirements in terms of product specification, quality, service and reliability standards help the purchasing team/procurement team evaluate suppliers' proposals as well as measure the suppliers' performance. • Resolve the logistics, supply and product specification and quality issues concerning incoming supply with the suppliers. • Analyse and evaluate the product pricing trends on the existing as well as new products to identify opportunities to purchase. • Analytical Skills: Works with multiple vendors to determine the best deals for the company, and have to evaluate the many pros and cons of each, based on price, quality, speed of delivery and other factors. • Involving in business process engineering. Collaborate between other Divisions to improve procurement related process and procedure. • Assist in any other ad-hoc task assigned by your superior or management. • Work closely with the 3rd Party Logistics Provider to resolve day-to-day issues that may occur. • Ensure shipments are moved out as per system-defined Package/Storage conditions according to India guidelines. Review exceptional customer list is updated from time to time • Organizing and managing inventory, storage, and transportation. • Managing, evaluating, and reporting on PPV • Monitoring and Ordering Packing material supplies and maintaining suitable inventory levels. • Overseeing all supply chain operations. • Analyzing and optimizing logistical procedures. • Reviewing, preparing, and routing of direct vehicles • Ensuring the safe and timely pick-up and delivery of shipments. • Monitoring shipments, costs, timelines, and productivity. • Addressing and resolving shipment and inventory issues. • Ensuring basic maintenance standards and compliance with health and safety regulations.
