NVENT, LLC is Hiring a Manufacturing Engineer Near Trenton, CA

You will support lean initiatives, design of new equipment/processes or modification to existing equipment/processes, qualification testing and development/updates of documents within our lean manufacturing facility. Primary job responsibilities: For assigned processes, participate in capital planning, investigate alternative equipment and process designs to support continuous improvement and prepare justifications, implement equipment/process change and evaluate results. Maintain standard work, process maps and other required documents for assigned processes. Develop and perform qualification testing for products, raw materials and processes. Collaborate with New Product Development to implement manufacturing processes for new and/or enhanced products as needed. Generate, update and complete A3’s for project plans and complete RCCM’s as required. Lead and participate in Kaizen events. Conduct regular standard work audits and support other audits within the facility. Some travel may be required. You have: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical engineering or related discipline. Ideally 2 years of relevant experience including process improvement and lean manufacturing experience. Project management and leadership skills an asset. Mechanical design experience a plus. A results driven individual who has demonstrated ability working in a high-performance manufacturing environment. Must be able to motivate, communicate and drive continuous improvement.
