We are looking for passionate, driven individuals to join our team focused on Delivering Solutions and Improving Lives.NV5 is currently looking for an experienced Marketing Proposal Manager to join our national Utility Services/Power team. The successful candidate is a detail-oriented, organized self-starter with a strong work ethic and passion for producing high-quality work. Hybrid work schedule and remote work options available.

Responsibilities

• Manages, mentors, and trains the Utility Services/Power marketing team.
• In a supervisory capacity, plans, develops, coordinates, and directs the preparation of proposals (RFP), statements of qualifications (SOQ), presentations, pre-qualification submissions, and other business development activities to secure new clients and projects.
• Oversees all phases of the proposal process including leading the “Go-No Go process,” response planning and development, content development and management, proposal status/progress meetings, and post-award debriefs.
• Creates and maintains marketing collateral materials and content libraries including but not limited to brochures, banners, project briefs, personnel resumes, graphics, and non-technical supporting narrative.
• Leads workload planning and scheduling of proposal and marketing activities calendar.
• Manages quality control for all marketing deliverables.
• Plans, coordinates, and participates in conferences and events.
• Conducts marketing and proposal training for technical staff.
• Gathers and analyzes research data related to pursuits and marketing or business development initiatives.
• Participates in strategic planning in collaboration with leadership and business development team.
• Develops website and social media content updates for the Utility Services/Power group.
• Performs other related duties to support special projects and business development activities as needed.

Qualifications

Education/Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; relevant marketing and proposal experience will be accepted in lieu of a degree.
• Minimum of 8 years of marketing and proposal development experience required. 
• Advanced Proficiency in Adobe InDesign and Microsoft Office is required; experience with other Adobe Creative Suite programs (Photoshop and Illustrator) and Deltek Vision CRM preferred.
• Advanced writing, editing, organization, and time management skills.
• Effective mentoring/teaching abilities and managerial skills.
• Able to communicate effectively, in verbal and written form, with technical and non-technical staff.
• Able to work flexible hours if needed or required by proposal deadlines.
