NuVasive, Inc. is Hiring a Benefits Administrator Near San Diego, CA

Job Summary and Primary Responsibilities
  • This is a hybrid position reporting to our San Diego, CA site

Administers and analyzes the company's benefits programs, partnering with payroll and external vendors to ensure benefit enrollment, deductions and file feeds are accurate and complete. Communicates the company's benefit program and provides excellent customer service. Surveys market data to assist in developing and recommending plan modifications that promote competitive practices.

  • Administers the employee benefits programs and answers all employee questions
  • Maintains employee benefits filing systems and ensures benefits changes are entered appropriately in HRIS system for payroll deductions
  • Performs routine projects such as annual enrollment, coordinates project assignments across the team, and completes all assigned tasks to progress projects
  • Collects and summarizes employee benefit data costs and trends to support the generation of statistical summaries for various stakeholder evaluation
  • Performs audits in the system, reviews data, and tests updated systems to ensure all customer issues are resolved quickly and correctly
Required Skills / Capabilities
  • Advanced capability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality when handling sensitive personnel data
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, as well as data analysis and interpretation
Education and Experience
  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience
  • Degree in Human Resources or business administration preferred
  • Experience working in HRIS systems required
Travel and/or Physical Requirements
  • Up to 10% travel
