Summary:
This position drives change management reflecting best practices, insights, and benchmarks to effectively deliver and measure talent and recruitment strategies across the organization.
Responsibilities:
1. Data analyst will identify, collect, clean, analyze, and interpret the data results.
2.
Implements
data collection and reporting procedures regarding
talent strategy,
recruitment and retention activities.
3.
Partners with IT, HRIS, and people analytics team on implementation of people dashboards to accommodate multiple data sources while ensuring accessibility, data integrity and compliance
4. P
lans, organizes, leads and/or participates in complex, sensitive, and detailed analytical work relating to talent strategy.
5. L
everages analytic and technical skills to innovate, build, and maintain solutions to address these areas.
6.
Conducts data analysis and data visualization activities; develops dashboards and presentations using data visualization software (
PowerBI
or Tableau) to understand employment trends.
7.
Utilizes a variety of data analysis tools (e.g., queries, exports, pivot tables, definitions, visualizations, and data quality assessments) to understand SFPD employment data.
8.
Analyzes existing and proposed administrative policies and procedures as well as organizational problems.
9.
Prepares and presents reports, dashboards, and presentations to internal and external stakeholders.
10.
Researches best practices and makes recommendations.
11. Creates business reviews, executive summaries and presentations.
12. P
resents and speaks to data with management team and
leadership
team.
13. Creates Board presentations

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree preferred; High School diploma and 7 years of work experience accepted in lieu of degree
3-5 years of data analyst or related experience. This includes monitoring data quality and removing inaccurate data
3 years of creating reports
Ability to write complex SQL statements
High Proficiency in Excel (formulas, Pivot tables, VLOOKUP)
Ability to work with Queries preferred

Workable knowledge of ATS, HRIS Systems
Workable knowledge of Tableau
