Job Summary
As an Associate Account Executive, you’ll work with the most innovative school
districts in the country to help modernize their foodservice dining experience.
This is an entry-level sales role where you’ll work alongside our Senior Account
Executive to continue growth in our K-12 space, ensuring all sizes of school
districts receive the same level of sales service. You’ll manage the entirety of the
sales process from initial contact to close, ensuring our prospective customers
receive a streamlined and supportive sales experience.
Responsibilities:● Own SMB K-12 account strategy, opportunity creation, and pipeline
development
● Build and deepen relationships with SMB K-12 school districts to help
influence their foodservice technology strategy
● Manage the full sales cycle, which can vary in length and complexity
● Deliver engaging presentations online with top-level decision makers
● Negotiate price and contractual terms with all new customers and identify
who, within the client organization, needs to be involved in approving the
purchase
● Serve as the driving force that keeps potential deals moving through the
procurement process, prescriptively navigating prospective customers
through any friction in the buying process
● Facilitate a seamless hand-off to our Customer Success and
Implementation teams
Requirements:
● A minimum of 1 year software sales experience, ideally, within the K-12
foodservice space
● Desire to build a successful sales career
● Strong verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated
experience engaging and influencing decision-making level contacts
● Must be tech savvy and able to confidently navigate Salesforce.com
● Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, rapidly changing
environment
● Self-motivated with the ability to work independently as well as part of a
team
● An entrepreneurial spirit – the idea of being an active participant in a
growing company must excite you
This position is full time and offers a competitive salary OTE $50K-$65K and
generous benefits including health, dental, flexible PTO, 401k with match, and
more.
