Numerica is seeking a Quality Supervisor to manage and implement our quality management system to ensure our manufacturing processes are compliant to applicable quality specifications and standards. Working in small innovative teams, our engineers build solutions that make a difference. Our research endeavors don’t end once we’ve written a journal or conference paper describing our technology; rather, our work is complete when our technology has been deployed in mission-critical systems and our customers within government and industry are successful.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Support ongoing quality systems needs surrounding nonconforming material, document change requests, CAPA system, Supplier Corrective action system, training, audits, and RMA system.
• Monitor in-process and final testing and inspection activities. Track and adjust quality control checks of critical processes in production using charts, statistical data, and reports to ensure customers’ requirements are fulfilled.
• Maintain effective work instructions and operating procedures for inspection, operations and supplier quality assurance per ISO requirements
• Maintains ISO registration through coordination and participation in periodic audits.
• Implements, trains, and manages processes to ensure that product meets required specifications for quality prior to delivery.
• Perform as ISO representative to lead quality program and improvements.
• Experience with electrical mechanical assembly and manufacturing.
• Identifies quality defects and manufacturing issues and recommends solutions to these issues.
• Experience applying IPC standards including IPC-A-610, J-STD-001 and IPC/WHMA-A-620
• Experience working within ESD controlled environments.
• Lead quality system training requirements of personnel: provide classroom-type and on-the-job training when needed and maintain training records.
• Coordinates and participates in product testing processes.
• Reviews client, customer, and user feedback.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Skills and Education

• Degree from an accredited institution in a related field, preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of directly related experience.
• Or a combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge
• Familiarity with Aerospace manufacturing and systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to use various inspection tools and test method used in electromechanical assembly.
• Ability to work independently while taking direction from leadership to ensure priorities are understood and tasking is accomplished.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing technologies, processes, and accepted good manufacturing practices.
• Deep understanding and application of problem-solving tools for root cause and corrective action.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Expected salary range: $85,000 to $100,000 plus incentives, depending on relevant experience

Because of the nature of the work performed by Numerica, all applicants must be capable of obtaining a U.S. Security Clearance.
